You’d be forgiven for thinking that the best place to secure great deals on Amazon’s own products is, well, Amazon’s own website. But that theory has been blown out of the water (for now at least) by a stonking offer you can currently take advantage of on BT’s online store.
The third-gen Echo Dot, released mere months ago, has been cut down from £50 to just £30 – you don’t need to be a maths genius to work out that that’s a handsome 40% saving. Although the Echo Dot is a regularly-discounted product, this is amongst the cheapest we’ve ever seen it.
This dinky smart speaker from Amazon is one of our all-time favourites within the genre. Although we didn’t believe the second-gen Echo Dot needed improving, Amazon went ahead and did just that anyway, with sensational results. The third-gen Echo Dot was an improvement in almost every way, without so much as a penny of a price hike.

We thought £50 represented great value, given that you’d be getting integrated Alexa support, surprisingly good sound quality, a classy design and more for the money. RIght now you can get all of that for just £30.
You’ll need to be a fan of the Charcoal Fabric design, though, since that’s the only model currently on offer. Both the Heather Grey Fabric and Sandstone Fabric designs will still set you back the original £50 price tag.
