Best tablet deals 2021: The best deals on Apple iPad, Samsung and other tablets before Black Friday

The best tablet deals this month, including iPads, Samsung and other big brand names

The best tablet deals can often be hard to find, but we’ve scoured the interwebs to find you the best ones. A tablet can be a good alternative to a laptop for easy tasks such as replying to emails, scrolling through your social media feeds and even streaming movies and TV shows. Some tablets like Microsoft’s Surface Pro and the Apple iPad also double up as handy two-in-ones with the help of a neat keyboard attachment.

This month we’ve got savings on powerful tablets such as the Apple iPad Pro and Microsoft Surface Pro that are capable of handling serious tasks such as photo and video editing, digital sketching, working on the go, and more. Of course, with these types of ‘pro’ tablets, there are often hidden costs involved.

It’s worth bearing in mind that the iPad Pro stylus isn’t included in the price of the iPad, and you’ll also have to pay extra for the Microsoft Surface Pro’s keyboard cover. On the other hand, if you’re after a more affordable basic device to surf the web on, there are also some very appealing budget options, starting at just £50.

Whatever you’re looking for, you should find something for you here. Read on for our rundown of the best tablet deals available right now, and remember that we’re updating this page all the time so be sure to keep checking back for the latest, greatest savings.

iPad Pro 2020 11in 1TB (was £1,419; now £1,185)

It’s no secret that iPads are packed with the latest tablet technology and this one’s got all the bells and whistles; a A12Z Bionic chip, Face ID and a Liquid Retina display, to name just a few. With 1TB storage, you’ll be able to download enough apps, movies and games to keep yourself entertained for a very long time.

This device also has cellular connectivity, meaning that you can stay connected even when you’re far away from Wi-Fi. It’s one generation away from the latest model, but it’s still pretty new and has the best range of features for the biggest discount.

1. Apple iPad Pro 2021 11in, 128GB (was £999; now £749)

You don’t often get major savings on iPads, but the model from 2020 has seen its price slashed following the release of the 2021 iteration, including generous discounts on John Lewis and Argos. As you probably know by now, iPads are brilliant tablets – very powerful, with great displays and a huge range of top-quality apps – and are definitely worth a look at these lower prices. Remember, though, if you want to turn them into proper productivity tools, you have to pay extra for the keyboard and stylus.

Now with a bigger price drop, Samsung’s Tab S7 range even comes with a free pen tool to use on the 12.4in screen, unlike its rival at Apple, while also offering additional storage of up to 1TB via a micro-SD slot. The Plus (+) version contains a fast Qualcomm processor and a slick 120Hz screen so whether you’re streaming or emailing, computer rage should be a thing of the past.

While you may not get as many features as a tablet from Apple or Samsung, it’s a fraction of the price of those devices and it’ll get the job done if you’re looking for a standard tablet. It’s also got a great 9-hour battery life, and you can also increase its 32GB storage using a micro SD card, should you wish to do so.

5. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 (Save up to £280)

Microsoft’s Surface Pro 7 is a tablet that can double as a high-end Windows laptop when paired with the Type Cover keyboard. It has a gorgeous 12.3in touch display, has an incredibly sleek design and can also be used with a stylus. Note, however, that the price doesn’t include the Type Cover. Microsoft doesn’t have as many discounts on their website at the time of writing, but we’ll keep our eyes out for you in case they add some in the future.
