The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus is going cheap for Prime Day

Samsung’s enormous tablet is a bit of a steal at this Prime Day deal price

For some, the iPad is the first and last word in tablets. But if iPadOS doesn’t cut it for you, Amazon currently has one of the best Android tablets on offer for Prime Day — and it’s ideal for those who like their screens on the large side.
For the next two days, Amazon has slashed the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, with both the Wi-Fi and 5G versions available with sizable discounts.

The cheaper 4G model is available for £469, down £330 from its usual £799 RRP. And if you want to connect to the internet away from home, the 5G versions aren’t too much more. You can buy it in Black or Mystic Bronze for £549 — just shy of half the usual £999 asking price.

All three versions come with the S Pen in the box, so you can doodle away to your heart’s content on that massive 12.4in screen, but if you want to make it into a surrogate laptop, you’ll need a keyboard case. Fortunately, that’s also reduced for Prime Day — down £56 from its RRP to a more palatable £83.99 (just make sure you get the Plus version).

The Galaxy Tab S7 Plus may not be the latest Samsung tablet (that would, shockingly, be the Tab S8), but it’s still superb and is the proud holder of an Expert Reviews Best Buy award.

“In the end, whichever variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 you go for, you’re going to get an absolute belter of a tablet,” wrote Senior Editor Nathan Spendelow in our five-star review. “The keyboard cover is nice (if you buy one), the tablet itself is lovely, DeX mode works well and the stylus is included in the box at no extra cost.

“Pair all that with the fastest Qualcomm processor to date, a slick 120Hz screen and the potential for 5G connectivity, and the Tab S7 Plus is a great tablet for everything from working on Word documents to watching Netflix,” he continued. “And the price, which is considerably less than the equivalent Apple iPad Pro, makes for an exceedingly tempting purchase.”
