As Microsoft Surface Pro 8 deals go, this is brilliant: the 128GB model with an Intel Core i5 processor for a mere £849 on Amazon, £150 cheaper than its usual price of £999. Considering that we showered the Surface Pro 8 with five stars out of five and a coveted Recommended award in our original review, that’s an unmissable bargain.

If you’re after one of the best non-Apple tablets around or, when you combine it with a Bluetooth keyboard, a powerful laptop rival, the Jubilee long weekend is the perfect time to snap up this Microsoft Surface Pro 8 deal. It’s likely to be extremely popular, though, so get in there quickly while stocks last.

It’s no exaggeration to say that the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 blew us away when we first got our hands on it. We awarded it five stars and a Recommended gong for its drop-dead gorgeous design, crisp display, USB-C ports and surprisingly loud speakers. In the words of our review, it’s “a very hard act to beat for sheer versatility”, especially when combined with the Surface Pro Signature keyboard or Surface Pen Slim 2.

Which brings us to a couple of minor quibbles: the extras are expensive and often out of stock, while the battery life could be longer. Note that there’s also no USB-A port, although that’s true for many newer devices. And these small negatives are very easy to overlook when you’re getting so much discounted bang for your buck.

This is one of the best Microsoft Surface Pro 8 deals we’ve seen for a long time, offering an incredible amount of tablet quality for a jaw-dropping price. Once again, get in there as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
