Surface Pro 7 sees price SLASHED

Great price for the Surface Pro 7

With the Surface Pro 7, Microsoft has taken an “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” approach – and the Surface Pro line is anything but broken. The lack of innovation was about our only complaint when we reviewed it late last year: otherwise it’s a very dependable and well-designed 2-in-1 – albeit an expensive one.

Not so expensive on Prime Day, mind. Amazon has slashed the price of its i5 version, dropping it from an RRP of £899 to just £659 – a saving of 27%. That’s if you have a Prime account – those without get the price of £851.96, a measly saving of just 5%. (You can sign up for a 30-day free trial, however.)

If you’re happy to shop at Curry’s eBay store, you can get it for even less. The same model price matches Amazon, but add the code PICK5OFF at checkout, and it’ll drop by 5% to £626.05.

Only one version is quite this reduced, but it’s the one that most people will automatically gravitate to, as it offers more grunt than the entry-level version, without pushing the price up too much. For your money, you get a tenth-generation Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage. It comes with a microSD slot, so don’t worry if that sounds a little on the stingy side.

It doesn’t come with the official Type Cover, which is pretty much essential for getting the most out of it, but these can be bought separately.
