Now TV launches new Sky Sports Mobile Pass

Watch the Premier League and other Sky Sports channels on your iOS or Android device with Now TV's new pass

Now TV, the pick-and-mix contract-free TV streaming service, has announced a new Sky Sports Mobile Month Pass. The package gives sports fans the opportunity to stream Sky Sports’ Premier League, Action, Arena and News channels direct to their mobile, for £6 a month.

If you’re keen to stream the big derby on the go, keep up to date with the latest new stories on holiday (in the EU), or spend a loved one’s wedding day secretly following the darts, then this might be the Now TV pass for you.

The Sports Mobile Month Pass is only limited to use on smartphones and content can’t be streamed onto bigger screens, but it represents rather good value when compared to Now TV’s existing services.

Currently, it’s available to all new and existing UK Now TV customers on iOS and Android, and one account can be used on up to four registered devices – although not simultaneously.

In the coming months, the pass will give you access to Liverpool vs Manchester City and Chelsea vs Manchester United on the Premier League channel, as well as NFL ties and Rugby Autumn Internationals on the Action and Arena channels.

The new offering joins Now TV’s existing range of Sky Sports passes which includes the Day Pass (£8 per month), Week Pass (£13) and Month Pass (£34).

Although these might not seem particularly cheap, Now TV’s deals are actually rather good value when you consider that they’re the only legal way to watch Sky Sports in the UK without a full Sky subscription.

If you’re not a die hard sports fan, and you only want to watch the odd Test match or Grand Prix without coughing up the full £40 per month for a Sky box, then these passes (and the new Mobile Month Pass) are a good alternative.

There are all sorts of existing streaming services on offer if sports aren’t your thing, too. The Entertainment Pass (£8 per month) allows you to watch all of Sky’s new TV dramas, including Instinct and Stan Lee’s Lucky Man, the Cinema Pass (£10 per month) brings you all the latest blockbusters and the Kid’s Pass (£4 per month) will allow you some peace and quiet as your little ones discover what Peppa Pig and co have been up to recently.
