Sky kicks off Black Friday with a FREE 4K TV bundle

There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but there’s a free TV. Sky has got its Black Friday deals underway, and leading the way is a free 43in LG 4K TV when you take out its bumper Sky Q subscription.
 
So not entirely free, but a very good deal if you’re keen on getting the full Sky experience. As we mentioned in our five-star review, Sky Q is an incredibly good piece of kit that gets our solid thumbs up. The only issue we had was with the price, and that’s certainly sweetened when a 4K TV is thrown in.
 
So here are the full details of the deal. To get the free TV, you’re looking at a cost of £55 per month with a £75 one-off setup cost. For that price, you’re getting an awful lot of content though, with 18 months’ worth of Sky Entertainment, Sky Cinema, Sky HD, the Sky Q Multiscreen pack and Netflix Premium. Alongside the new TV to watch it on, of course.
 
Including the £9.95 delivery fee on the 4K TV, you’re looking at a cost of £1,074.95 for 18 months entertainment. Bear in mind this bundle would normally cost £65 per month and wouldn’t come with that TV-shaped sweetener. So all in, typically, it would be £1,653.95 with the £399.99 TV. A saving of 35% if you buy on Black Friday.

Of course, this deal really only applies to people who aren’t already signed up to the wonderful world of Sky TV, but current subscribers have got a rather tasty offer too. Enhance your immersion with the Sky Soundbox for just £220 – not bad at all given non-Sky customers still have to pay £499 if they want to get their hands on it.

But is it any good? Yes, very. As Jon wrote in his review: “For the discounted price of £299 or, even better, at £249 for Sky multiroom customers, it sounds utterly amazing and it’s a firm recommendation.”
 
Suffice it to say that at £220 it’s a no-brainer.
