Prices across a number of Samsung televisions have plummeted - here are the best deals you'll find

Black Friday is here! And the internet has been positively inundated with TV deals, ones suited for all sizes and budgets. We’ve seen prices reduced across models from a number of major television brands – including Samsung. So if you’re a fan of the Korean tech brand, now is an opportune moment to buy one of its TVs at a reduced price.

But where to start? Samsung has what you might politely call an overwhelming range of televisions. The model names and numbers can certainly be a bit confusing, so take a look at our Samsung TV model numbers explained page for a comprehensive guide.

We’ve scoured all the major retailers – Amazon, Currys, Argos, AO.com – and put together this list of the best Samsung TV deals out there. The best Samsung TV deals this Black Friday

1. Samsung RU7100 4K UHD TV (55in: now £427; 58in: now £439)

If you’re shopping for a 55in or 58in telly, and one ideally at no great cost, Samsung’s RU7100 makes for a smart choice. Yes, it can’t quite compete with the RU7400 (also on sale, see below), but the user reviews we’ve read suggest that its image quality can’t be matched in this price bracket. The 58in, in particular, is a total gem at just £439 at Currys. Since it’s barely a tenner more than the 55in model at Amazon, we know which one we’d pick of the two.

2. Samsung UE49RU7300 49in Smart 4K UHD TV (was £449, now £399)

We’ll be the first to admit that curved TVs are a bit passe these days. But if you look past that, you’ll find a television that has fantastic Ultra HD upscaling technology that helps perfect each and every scene that you’re watching. AO.com has knocked £50 off the price in its Black Friday sale, bringing the cost down to just under £400.

3. Samsung 43-inch 43RU7400 4K TV (was £509, now £366)

Here’s a superior model, albeit smaller in size. Thew 43in RU7400 features a high-calibre 4K panel, HDR support and an excellent Smart TV interface – all for the incredibly moderate sum of £362. While it’s a markedly better TV than the RU7100, it doesn’t cost proportionately more (the 55in is £528, less than £100 more than the 55IN RU7100).

4. Samsung 65-inch RU7400 HDR Smart 4K TV (was £715, now £628)

This mid-range TV has taken a price nosedive of £85 in Amazon’s Black Friday sale. It’s not huge saving, but this is still one of Samsung’s newer TVs, and one that boasts spectacular Dynamic Crystal Colour 4K picture quality and a smart hub where you can stream all your fave films and TV shows.

5. Samsung QLED QE49Q60RA 49in HDR 4K UHD TV (was £799, now £629)

This QLED TV has been given a welcome £160 discount at AO.com, bringing the price down into the mid-range price category. It supports 4K picture quality, while the 100% Colour Volume processor perfects the tones and hues in whatever you’re watching. The smart hub, meanwhile, plays host to all the major streaming apps.

6. Samsung 55-inch Q90R (RRP: £2,799; Now £1,499)

And here’s one of Samsung’s highest-end televisions. In terms of HDR impact, the Q90R is matchless, and does a sterling job cancelling out bright lights and glaring reflections in overly sunny living rooms. And check out John Lewis’s 46% discount! If you’re after a TV that’s perfectly suited to both daytime and nighttime viewing, this is it. Don’t miss out.

7. Samsung 75-inch RU7100 HDR 4K TV (was £1,095, now £962)

Searching for a jumbo-sized TV? If your living room is suitably epic in size, then take a look at this deal from Amazon on Samsung’s 75in RU7100, which brings the RRP of £1,095 down to just £962 (the right side of £1,000, if you ask us). The in-built UHD processor optimises the picture quality of whatever you’re watching, while the smart compatibility means you can link it up with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa for hands-free control.
