LG Nano86 4K TV discounted for the first time at Amazon
Massive savings on multiple models of the 2021 LG Nano86, with up to £300 off
After releasing just a few months ago, the 2021 refresh of LG’s Nano86 TV has now seen its first price reduction at Amazon, and it’s a doozy. Depending on which model you choose, you can currently pick up this NanoCell TV for up to 26% less than RRP. The 50in model is reduced by £200, bringing it down to £749, the 65in model is now £300 cheaper, at £1,099. The biggest saving to be had is on the 55in model, which is discounted by £300, or 26%, to just £849.
At the time of writing, no deals are running on either the 75in or 86in models, but with the three mentioned above, you’ve still got a decent selection of sizes to choose from.
Thanks to LG’s NanoCell technology, the TV itself is as eyecatching as the pricetag. Designed to make colours pop more than ever, the nano display promises to produce a more vibrant image that looks great, even when viewed from wide angles. The picture is further boosted with LG’s own HDR format, HDR10 Pro, and Dolby Vision IQ, while the audio is enhanced with support for Dolby Atmos. Meanwhile, AI works behind the scenes, adjusting audio and picture settings based on the content genre to deliver a more immersive experience, whether you’re binging a box set, or catching the latest game.
As well as movies and sports, the NANO86 is also a great choice for next-gen gaming, thanks to a litany of useful features. First is the Game Optimizer, which collects all gaming-related settings in one place, and automatically optimises the picture during gameplay, making any genre of game look the best it can. There’s also an auto low-latency mode and support for AMD FreeSync Premium, the latter of which reduces occurrences of stuttering or tearing during gameplay.
Finally, the LG NANO86 naturally makes use of the brand’s excellent webOS smart platform, which we have found to be quite simply the best smart TV platform out there. As well as a new homepage that can be controlled via either an Alexa or Google Assistant smart speaker, this set comes with the latest Magic Remote, designed to make scrolling through menus easy, simple and lightning quick.
