What’s even better than a cheap 4K TV? That’s right, a cheap 4K TV that has had its price reduced even further as part of the Boxing Day sales!
To be a bit more specific, you can now pick up the excellent AU8000 from renowned Korean manufacturer Samsung for just £365, down from £368 and a previous high of £549. That’s a huge saving of £184 or 34%.
According to the ever-reliable Amazon price tracker CamelCamelCamel, this is the lowest price that the 43in version of the AU8000 has retailed at on the ecommerce website, down from a high of £549 as recently as June 2021.
The Samsung AU8000 proves that cheap 4K TVs don’t have to look cheap, and are more than capable of offering extensive feature sets on a par with their more expensive rivals.
Its ‘AirSlim’ design is just 26mm thick and sits on a narrow panel, making the AU8000 an ideal candidate for wall mounting if you’re willing to fork out an extra £75 for the relevant hardware.
Picture quality is excellent in each of the HDR, HDR10+ and HLG viewing formats, and audio is ably supported by Samsung’s built-in 20W (RMS) speakers which support the company’s Adaptive Sound tech for an immersive viewing experience.
A wide range of apps, including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and BT Sport are included, and those who like to control their TV using their voice can choose between the Alexa, Google Assistant and Bixby voice assistants.
If you’re looking for something a bit more sizeable than the 43in AU8000, you can also currently save 27% on the 55in model, 35% on the 65in version and 22% on the whopping 75in TV.
