Fitbit sale: The smartwatch giant has rolled out a site-wide sale for Valentine’s Day

The wearable company has slapped discounts on a number of watches, bands and other accessories

Ah, Valentine’s Day. It’s that special date in the calendar when pulses races and hearts skip a beat – and if you fancy seeing your own physiological spikes measured and tracked with technological precision, we suggest you take a look at this huge sale at Fitbit, where you can enjoy savings across a number of their fitness trackers.

Fitbit has unveiled a mammoth sale that cuts prices on wearables including the Fitbit Alta (£100, down from £130), the Adidas edition of the Fitbit Ionic (£280, down from £300) and the Fitbit Versa (was £220, now £200). As you can see, they’re fairly modest discounts in price – but one offer that definitely deserves attention is the reduction on the Special Edition Charge 3, which levels the price to £130: the same as its standard-level brother. You can read our hands-on review of the Fitbit Charge 3  for a detailed verdict – but in a nutshell, the Special Edition comes with two bands and has contactless Fitbit Pay. (Something you can casually whip out to impress your date when paying the bill for a romantic dinner.)

It would be remiss of us to not to point out that despite these discounts, you can still pick up lots of these products at a cheaper prices at third-party retailers. Amazon, for example, are selling the Fitbit Ionic for £194, the Versa for £145 and the Alta for £80, which are all someway beneath even the discounted prices marked above.

In reality, some of the better discounts you’ll find in the Fitbit sale are among the accessories. The classic band for the Fitbit Charge 3 is now £15, down from £20, while a classic band for the Fitbit Ionic is just £13, down from £25, and a pack of three bands for the Fitbit Flex 2 is now half-price (£15, down from £30). So if you already have a Fitbit wearable and want to give it a bit of a style overhaul, now’s your chance.
