Apple Watch Series 7 in RARE Black Friday discount
Both the Wi-Fi and cellular Apple Watch 7 enjoys a sizable discount for Black Friday.
The Apple Watch Series 7 has only been out since October — due to production issues it wasn’t available immediately after being announced — but now you can enjoy a small but tempting discount courtesy of Amazon for Black Friday.
At Amazon, both the Wi-Fi and cellular Apple Watch 7 have a discount. The cheapest is the 41mm Wi-Fi model, which is usually £369 but currently down to £349. If you want the 45mm version, you also get £20 off: it’s £379 rather than £399.
If having cellular data while out and about is all important to you, there’s a £30 discount on the 41mm model, which is down to £439. Unfortunately, the 45mm cellular version is unchanged at £499, but I suppose it could just be slow to catch up with the discounts.
The Apple Watch 7 probably needs little introduction: it’s simply the best smartwatch around for iPhone users, and a must-buy if you currently have nothing on your wrist. The question is a little more complicated if you’re wearing an earlier model, with the Series 7 offering a set of modest but welcome improvements: a screen that’s both larger and brighter, improved durability with IP6X dust resistance and charging times that are improved by around 30%.
“You probably shouldn’t splash out if your Series 6 or Series 5 is still going strong but if you’re buying your first smartwatch as an iPhone user or your current Apple Watch is showing signs of wear and tear, then it’s pretty much a no brainer,” wrote our Head of Reviews Jon Bray in his Apple Watch 7 review.
A £20-£30 discount may not be enormous — but it’s probably as good as you’re going to get on an Apple product that’s under two months old.
