Dropping in price for the very first time as part of Amazon’s Black Friday sales, you can currently pick up the excellent Acer Chromebook Spin 513 for just £299. An ideal choice for cost-savvy Chromebook buyers, this represents a sizeable saving of £101 for a limited time.
What do you get for your (relatively little) money, then? Since this is a Chromebook, this lightweight, low-cost laptop runs Chrome OS, which is a stripped-down operating system that, unlike Windows and macOS, is exceedingly simple to use. Recommended for first-time laptop owners or the not-so tech fluent, Chrome OS has a handful of added benefits as well, including built-in virus protection, extensive parental controls and fast boot times.
Hardware-wise, the 2-in-1 Acer Chromebook Spin 513 has a 13.3in Full HD touch-enabled display, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC flash storage.
