Amazon Prime Day has booted off in signature style, with a tidal wave of unbelievable deals and offers available exclusively for Prime members. And this iPad Pro deal certainly grabbed our attention: shoppers can now save £234 on the 12.9in 64GB iPad Pro, bringing it down from an RRP of £1,119 to just £885.

If you’re in the market for a premium iPad, now is a perfect time to snap one up, with over a fifth off its original price tag. A quick detour to our favourite price comparison tool, Camel Camel Camel, confirms that this is the cheapest price we’ve ever seen the iPad Pro at on Amazon, smashing its former record of £1,069.

In terms of bang for your buck, the iPad Pro provides plenty: we lauded it as the fastest iPad ever in our original four-star review, and were also pleased with its USB Type-C support and edge-to-edge screen. Meanwhile, our niggle with price (we dubbed it “hugely expensive”) has been considerably assuaged by this hefty Prime Day discount.

The deal extends to the Wi-Fi and Cellular 64GB model in Space Grey, a suitably pared-down colour for such a timeless and elegant design. If you want an investment tablet for work, play or the evermore prominent side-hustle, the iPad Pro is an excellent choice, now at a knock-down price.

It being Amazon Prime Day, the deal is exclusively available for Amazon Prime members. If you’re yet to take the plunge with a membership, don’t despair. Amazon Prime Day lasts from Monday 15 to Tuesday 16 July, so there’s still time to cash in on all that lightning deals goodness.
