This Sony WH-1000XM5 deal has dropped in price – AGAIN

sony wh-1000xm5 headphones black friday deal

These Sony WH-1000XM5s are five-star headphones, and they’re cheaper than ever thanks to THREE Black Friday price drops

This Sony WH-1000XM5 headphone deal was one of the best early discounts we’ve seen, and after a second price drop not long after the first one landed, it’s now got even cheaper.

A hefty price drop on Amazon already saw our favourite ANC Bluetooth headphones reduced to £299, their joint lowest price ever – and then they dropped even further to £296. After that, these stellar headphones dropped in price AGAIN, meaning you can now pick a pair up for just £290 – that’s £90 less than RRP and £40 less than average.

Originally reviewed at £379, and since then selling at an average price of £329 on Amazon, seeing these headphones dip below £300 is a surefire sign that it’s time to pick yourself up a pair.

These premium cans scored five stars and won our coveted Best Buy award in our full-length Sony WH-1000XM5 review, and you’ll also find them taking pride of place in several of our headphone roundups, such as our best headphonebest Bluetooth headphone and best noise-cancelling headphone roundups.

It’s easy to see why the WH-1000XM5 have earned such rave reviews across the globe. Their design is elegant and minimal, and they’re light and comfortable, making them a joy to wear for hours on end.

In terms of active noise cancellation, the XM5s trump previous models, upping the headphone’s microphone count from five to eight, working in tandem with the Sony Integrated Processor V1 and Sony HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN1 to provide top-tier ANC. Pair these components with smart ANC features, such as its Auto NC Optimizer, which can adapt to your environment and wearing conditions, and few headphones do a better job of blocking out the outside world.

Naturally, excellent sound quality is par for the course: Sony’s new 30mm carbon-fibre composite drivers deliver an impressively balanced sound and a broad and detailed soundstage. As well as adding Bluetooth support for Hi-Res audio over LDAC, the headphones support high-res audio format, Sony’s 360 Reality Audio, and can also create a Dolby Surround Sound experience when used in conjunction with one of the company’s Bravia XR TVs.
