Amazon has delivered a stonking deal on their Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet, knocking £60 off both the ad-supported and ad-free versions, meaning you can get one for as low as £89.99, while a no-ads version is just £99.99.
Amazon’s tablet is really the most exciting budget tablet in the space right now, and while it’s a must-buy at £150, this discount has really accentuated some of the positives about the device. This is a strong recommendation and, frankly, this is the cheapest you’re going to get a 10-inch tablet. Spendelow also praised the screen’s colour accuracy and the fact that the tablet has had a performance upgrade compared to previous devices in the range.
Other cool features involve the 1080p HD screen, the fact you can charge it via USB-C so won’t need to carry around a whole other cable and the fact it weighs a little under 500g, so you really can just keep this in your bag ready for you to watch a movie or read anytime you fancy it. While you’ll need a WiFi connection to access stuff on the move, there’s a MicroSD card and you can add 1TB of storage and store heaps of stuff on there for you to dip into.
There’s also a headphone jack, so you can plug a set of headphones in, just like the old days. If you have a nice pair of cans that has wires, it’s always a bit disappointing when you can’t use them, so this is a major plus point.
