Rejoice! The OnePlus 6 has arrived. Our mid-range lord and saviour is here and, rest assured, it’s a very impressive smartphone indeed. It has a refreshing new look, brand-new internals and an improved camera – what more could you want from OnePlus?Well, the answer to that, of course, is a brand new pair of wireless headphones. Launching right beside the OnePlus 6 at the big event, the Bullets Wireless headphones represent the Chinese firm’s first stab at a proper pair of wireless Bluetooth headphones.

But, I hear you cry, what makes these headphones any better than the countless others collecting dust in my drawer? Well, that’s precisely what I’m here for. Here’s everything you need to know about the OnePlus Bullets Wireless headphones, including UK price, release date and features.

The OnePlus Bullets Wireless headphones will launch in the UK on 5 June 2018. It’s certainly disappointing that they won’t be available at the same time as the OnePlus 6, that’s for sure.

The OnePlus Bullets Wireless headphones will be available for £69 on launch. For comparison, this puts OnePlus’ fancy new headphones at a much cheaper price than both the Beats X (£103) and Google’s Pixel Buds (£160).

This is the first time OnePlus has made a pair of wireless headphones. And, in terms of looks, the Bullets Wireless look very similar to Apple’s Beats X headset: there’s a pair of earbuds joined by a cable that’s supposed to run along the back of your neck.

When they aren’t in your ears, the buds snap together magnetically, pausing the music when the headphones aren’t in use. Each earpiece also comes with a set of rubber “fins” that hold them in your ears when you’re exercising.

As for features, Google Assistant support is on the way – this feature isn’t available on launch – and is only available when the headphones are connected to OnePlus phones. As for battery life, OnePlus says the Bullets Wireless will last up to eight hours on a single charge.

The Bullets Wireless also support fast charging via USB Type-C. After ten minutes of charging, OnePlus claims, these headphones can last up to five hours – perfect for a quick last-minute charge before the morning commute.
