Alongside Prime Day and Black Friday, the Amazon Spring Sale represents yet another string to the retail giant’s bow of deals events. From 6pm on 27 March to 29 March, there are plenty of savings to be had across a range of product categories, from toys and tech to home furnishings and kitchen appliances.
Amazon has already slashed the prices of its own devices, including its range of Kindle ereaders. The latest entry-level Kindle, for instance, will currently cost you £70 (or £80 for the version with ads), down from an RRP of £95 (or £85 with ads).

In our most recent full-length review, we gave the 2022 11th-generation Kindle a five-star Best Buy award. Remaining faithful to its two-figure price point (even at full price), it’s still the best entry-level e-reader you can buy, and the latest model has introduced some new features that make it even more attractive. These include a sharper 300ppi display and the introduction of USB-C charging, as well as a longer battery life and bigger storage space.
Of course, the deals don’t stop there. The water resistant Kindle Paperwhite – with its larger 6.8in display, adjustable warm light and superb ten week battery life – is now £95 without ads (down from an average price of £116). At the top of the range is the Kindle Oasis, which has been discounted to £195 (down from an average price of £210), while the Kindle Kids Edition (which was also refreshed in 2022) is down from £96 to £85.
