Black Friday deal shaves £335 off the Razer Blade Stealth 13 (2019)
For £900 you can get a well-made and very capable ultraportable laptop
If you’re after a new laptop, then Black Friday season is the time to go on the hunt for one. Often various retailers will slice hundreds of pounds off laptops that are less than a year old; case in point, eBuyer has knocked-off a hefty £335.25 from the price of the Razer Blade Stealth 13.
Previously £1,235.24, which was a reasonable price for the ultraportable laptop, the 2019 Razer Blade Stealth 13 can be had for £899.99 at the time of writing. For that price, you get an eighth-generation quad-core Intel Core i7-8565U – a very capable laptop processor – 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage space.
There are two things worth noting here. First, this Razer Blade Stealth 13 isn’t the very latest model as Razer released an updated “late 2019” version in October, which comes with Intel’s tenth-generation Ice Lake processors and a dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card.
Secondly, the model eBuyer is offering is pretty much the entry-level Razer Blade Stealth 13, as it comes with a Full HD rather than 4K display and no dedicated graphics card. However, for everyday tasks to working and a bit of light gaming, the Razer Blade Stealth 13 is a very capable laptop.
With a solid build quality, excellent trackpad and keyboard, all packed up in a compact chassis, the Razer Blade Stealth 13 is up there with other high-quality ultraportables such as the Dell XPS 13, Microsoft Surface Laptop 2, and Apple’s MacBook Pro 13. But unlike the aforementioned laptops, the Razer Blade Stealth 13 comes with a better port selection, offering a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3, a USB Type-C 3.1 port, a pair of USB Type-A ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
So if you’re after a very capable and good-looking ultraportable laptop, the Razer Blade Stealth 13 for £899.99 is a rather attractive deal.
