Amazon Prime Day: Garmin Forerunner 35 is at its lowest EVER price

Make a tidy saving on the best budget running watch that money can buy

Even though it was launched back in 2016, the Garmin Forerunner 35 remains, in our opinion, the finest budget running watch on the market today.

So if you’re keen to sweep away the cobwebs and work on your post-lockdown fitness this autumn, look no further than this excellent deal on the Forerunner 35, which you can find among the 2020 Amazon Prime Day savings.

The retail giant has knocked over £25 off the cost of the Forerunner 35, bringing it down to just £79. That’s the lowest price it’s ever been on Amazon, and a damn good saving on its original £170 RRP.

You have until midnight on 14 October to make the most of this deal and, of course, you have to be a Prime member. If you haven’t already, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial which you can cancel at any time.

For the money, you’ll be getting a fully featured device that addresses all the basic requirements of a runner or training athlete. The Forerunner 35 captures an impressive amount of health data and makes it very easy to review and analyse your workouts in Garmin’s accompanying app.

It also features heart-rate tracking and ANT+ sensors, meaning you can use it with a chest-strap heart rate monitor, or with Garmin’s Foot Pod to track indoor workouts with maximum accuracy.

Garmin hasn’t skimped on the battery life, though, with the Forerunner 35 being among the longest-lasting sports watches in its class. It allows for over a week between charges when completing two cardio workouts per day.

Its feature set makes it comparable to far pricier Garmin Vivoactive 3 (£125) and the Polar M430 (£135), making that £79 price tag for a sports watch that offers everything you want all the sweeter.
