Amazon’s biggest and most powerful tablet yet gets a whopping price cut for Prime Day
The recently launched Fire Max 11 tablet was Amazon’s first shot at breaking out of ultra-budget tablet territory, but now its mid-range £250 price tag has dropped to just £140 – a brilliant bargain for Prime Day.
The Fire Max 11 launched just two months ago, boasting the largest screen on any Fire tablet to date. The Max’s 11in display is 2,000 x 1,200 in resolution, with Dolby Atmos speakers and an 8MP front-facing camera located inside the top bezel.
As with many Prime Day deals, the Fire Max 11 price cut is reserved exclusively for Prime members. There’s a free 30-day trial for new users, so we think it’s worth signing up to Prime today to get the most out of the bargains on offer. You can always cancel before the trial ends.
The Fire Max 11 isn’t just Amazon’s biggest tablet yet, it’s also its most powerful. According to Amazon its 2.2GHz octa-core processor is 50% faster than the next-fastest Fire tablet, the Fire HD 10. Wireless connectivity comes courtesy of Wi-Fi 6 and the chipset is backed by 4GB of RAM.
In the specs sheet, Amazon says that the tablet weighs around 450g, with strengthened glass and an “aluminium design” which it claims is three times as durable as the 10th-gen Apple iPad 10.9in. Battery life is quoted at 14 hours, and the Max 11 is also the first Fire tablet with an integrated fingerprint sensor, embedded in the power button.
The Fire Max 11 model on offer in this Prime Day deal is the 64GB model with ads on the lockscreen, but the other models are also treated to price cuts. The 64GB model without ads drops from £260 to £150; the 128GB model with ads drops from £290 to £180; and the 128GB without ads drops from £300 to £190.
You can also grab a bargain Productivity Bundle that includes extras such as a keyboard case, stylus pen and Luna Controller. All combinations of internal storage, lockscreen ads/no ads, and bundled extras are treated to price cuts of various sizes – but only for Prime Day, so get on it now!
