This Cyber Monday Apple AirPods Max deal is exceptional, with some of the very best noise-cancelling headphones on the market now at a heavily discounted price.
The Apple AirPods Max are Apple’s first over-ear ANC headphones and typically retail for a whopping £549. They have seen a couple of price cuts over the past six months, with the green and sky blue models both falling as low as £400.
This AirPods Max deal can’t quite match that best ever price, but the black, green and blue variants are all currently available for a mere £429.
That’s a lot to pay for a pair of headphones, but we felt they were worth every penny at RRP, so at this price, they’re a veritable bargain.
Not only do the Apple AirPods Max works seamlessly with iPhones, iPads and MacBooks, but they also support Apple’s 360-degree Spatial Audio, which works brilliantly.
Support for it is limited at present, but it can be used while watching content on both Apple TV+ and Disney+ and it will elevate any audio experience.
Sound quality when not making use of Spatial Audio is great, too. The AirPods Max’s soundstage is nice and wide, instrument separation is top-notch and a slight roll-off in the very top-end frequencies prevents them from becoming fatiguing.
Another big feather in the Apple AirPods Max’s cap is their active noise cancellation. Performance is on par with some of the best ANC headphones on the market and the accompanying transparency mode is extremely effective, too.
