Saying that, the Paperwhite savings are more modest than the whopping £60 discount on the Kindle Oasis, which has better build quality, an excellent, sharp E Ink screen and simple button controls. It also has an IPX8 waterproof rating, which is perfect for anyone that likes to read in the bath or by the pool on holiday.
When we tested the Kindle Oasis in 2019, we thought it was the best ebook reader at the time. It comes in at a much higher price than the Paperwhite models at £230 but the new £170 Black Friday price is its lowest on record.
