Argos has cut the price of the Beats Studio 3 wireless headphones
Ahead of Black Friday, Argos has slashed £40 from the cost of the Beat Studio 3 wireless headphones, bringing the price down to £150.
It’s a sizable reduction on a superb set of headphones, which come with active noise cancelling (ANC) and a long-lasting battery life for listening on the go – around 22 hours with ANC and Bluetooth enabled, and up to 40 hours of wireless connectivity without ANC.
The Apple-owned Beats brand is a solid choice for sound quality, and the sale price is worth considering if you’re in the market for over-ear headphones, especially if you already own an iPhone.
As we said in our four-star review: “The Beats Studio 3 Wireless’ main distinguishing feature – certainly over its rivals – is the presence of the Apple W1 Bluetooth chip, which allows it to pair by simply holding the headphone next to your iPhone or iPad and allows for seamless switching via iCloud with any other Apple devices.
“Design-wise, there’s not much these headphones get wrong. They fold up nice and neatly and feel comfortable on your head and around your ears. And it’s good to see that they have a 3.5mm headphone jack, so you can carry on listening when the battery dies.”
If you’re shopping around, you might want to consider the Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones as an alternative. To the ears of our reviewer, Bose edges out the competition in the ANC department. Otherwise, the Beats Studio 3 is a solid choice, which is made all the more convincing thanks to this Black Friday reduction.
