My favourite pair of wireless earbuds from last year are the cheapest they’ve ever been in the Amazon Spring Sale

  • The Technics EAH-AZ100 received a five-star Best Buy review from us before winning Wireless Earbuds of the Year at our Product of the Year Awards
  • They cost £259 when they secured those accolades, but can currently be picked up for £207 in black, and slightly more in their other colours.
  • That price is their lowest-ever and well below their average price over the past 180 days of £248.

If you’re looking for new wireless earbuds in the Amazon Spring Sale, this Technics EAH-AZ100 deal is one I can wholeheartedly get behind.

I gave the Technics EAH-AZ100 five stars and a Best Buy badge when I reviewed them in January 2025. Twelve months later, they went on to win Wireless Earbuds of the Year at our Product of the Year Awards.

They beat off competition from the likes of the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (2nd Gen) and Apple AirPod Pro 3 – both Best Buy winners in their own right – to secure that accolade, which should make it pretty clear how highly I rate them.

And I rate them higher than ever right now, as they’ve never been cheaper. As part of its Spring Deal Days event, Amazon has slashed the price of the black model to £207. That’s more than £50 cheaper than they cost when I tested them, and a full £40 less than their average price over the last 180 days. If black is a little mundane for your tastes, the blue, gold, and silver colourways are also available with hefty discounts.

What makes the Technics EAH-AZ100 so good?

You can read my full review of the Technics EAH-AZ100 for the glorious details about them, but if your time is at a premium – the deals clock is ticking, so I know mine is – here’s a very quick breakdown of why they’ve won so many awards.

  • Sound quality is phenomenal. Using magnetic fluid driver technology found on far more expensive Technics in-ear monitors, the EAH-AZ100 deliver the best bass around. Yet they manage to communicate frequencies across the spectrum wonderfully and knit them together with musical mastery. They even support Dolby Atmos with Head Tracking and sound great when watching films with a surround sound soundtrack.
  • The design is on point. If you’re charging over £200 for earbuds, they’ve got to look and feel the part as well as sound it. Whichever colourway you go for, the EAH-AZ100 are stylish, extremely comfortable to wear and crafted beautifully.
  • Bluetooth connectivity is unrivalled. No other earbuds I’ve tested support multipoint pairing with up to three devices. This is a big boon for multi-taskers such as myself, who regularly flit between their phone, laptop and tablet. You’ve also got high-resolution codec support in the form of LDAC.
  • Call quality is right up there with the best. Voice pick-up is excellent, and background noise suppression via Voice Focus AI works very well, making the EAH-AZ100 a superb choice for those who spend a lot of time on calls and virtual meetings.
  • Noise cancellation gets the job done. While not their strongest suit, the EAH-AZ100 block out more than enough external noise to allow you to enjoy what you’re listening to comfortably in all but the most hectic environments.
  • Customisability is king. With a robust companion app with options to alter the touch control layout and adjust EQs, the EAH-AZ100 can easily be altered to your tastes.

If all that doesn’t convince you they’re worth £207 of your money, then nothing will. Maybe you’re after a different style of headphones, or something cheaper. In that case, I’d like to point you towards my roundup of unmissable Amazon Spring Sale headphones deals.

And just a quick reminder, the Amazon Spring Sale ends at 11.59pm on Monday, 16 March, at which point the EAH-AZ100 are likely to rise in price again. So don’t dally if you want to save on a pair of true wireless wonders.
