Black Friday isn’t just for Christmas (gifts), it’s also a brilliant time to book a bargain escape as airlines, hotels and tour operators all roll out competitive deals to tempt shoppers away from high streets and Amazon shopping carts. And this year there are tons of discounts flying around, whether you’re looking to take to the skies or stay somewhere closer to home. We’ve trawled through the deals to highlight the best of the bunch right here and will update this page as and when new offers are announced.

easyHotels on sale for £9.99

There are thousands of hotel rooms up for grabs for less than a tenner in the easyHotels Black Friday weekend sale. Between 23 and 26 November you can book an overnight stay in a range of destinations including London, Glasgow, and Liverpool for stays until 6 May. We found decent availability in between January and March.

Fly to Iceland for £29 each way

As part of Wow Air’s Purple Friday sale you can book flights to Reykjavik for as little as £29 each way (they usually go for around £50ish). We found pretty good availability between December and March, which may be the darkest and coldest time of the year to visit but it’s prime Northern Light-spotting season so you could cash in on a bargain and an Aurora Borealis sighting. Offer ends 25 November for travel until 10 April.

Free £5 Megabus voucher

Nab a free £5 voucher to use for travel in January with any booking made on the Megabus site throughout November. Considering the bargain bus journeys

2-for-1 adventure cruises in Thailand (save up to £1195)

If you’re looking to save money on an exotic escape, Intrepid Travel is offering a 2-for-1 promotion on adventure cruises in Thailand and Malaysia for departures between 15 December and 28 February 2019. Prices start from £1272 (or £636 per person) for an 8-night small ship cruise along the west coast of Thailand and Malaysia including most meals, tours and activities.

Save £50 on 3-night European city breaks

easyJet has sliced £50 off a bunch of Euroepan city breaks as part of its Black Friday sale. To scan the best offers click on the destination of your choice using the link below and scroll down to the deal finder at the bottom of the page to see the cheapest dates to fly. We found 3-night breaks to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Rome and Lisbon for under £150 per person including return flights and 4-star accommodation. Book by 28 November for travel until 1 September 2019.

Nab a free night’s stay at a choice of Malmaison hotels when you spend £75 on food and drink at one of the on-site Chez Mal restaurants. The deal is valid for stays between 1 and 31 January 2019 in cities including Brighton, Manchester, Edinburgh and Liverpool (excludes London and Oxford). Considering rates typically go for as much as £140 in January you can stand to save a substantial amount with this tasty deal.
