This incredible Black Friday deal on the OnePlus 9 Pro is one of the best smartphone deals we’ve seen so far. Having previously had an RRP of £829, it‘s now a bargain at £479: its cheapest ever price, and a massive 42% saving. The phone doesn’t skimp out on features either, with strikingly similar features to other “Pro” smartphones – but without the painfully high prices.
OnePlus is a notably smaller smartphone manufacturer than big names like Apple, Google and Samsung, but its phones’ competitive technical specs and affordable prices have been luring customers in for a good few years now. However, upon its release in March 2021, the OnePlus 9 Pro had a rather hefty £829 price tag, which seemed to indicate that the brand was going to be increasing its prices for good.
However, the OnePlus 9 Pro is now cheaper than ever, at just £479 ahead of Black Friday. That’s a whopping £350 off its original price, and £216 off its average Amazon price. Price nosedives like this don’t come around often, so we don’t expect the stock to stick around for long. That means you’ll need to strike while the iron’s hot if you want to get your hands on one at this price.
In terms of features, the OnePlus 9 Pro has 5G support, an attractive 6.7in AMOLED display and rapid charging speeds. So fast, in fact, that the phone can go from stone-cold dead to fully charged in just 28 minutes with the 65W charger that’s included in the box. It also has the best cameras OnePlus has ever produced, thanks to a three-year collaboration with Swedish camera manufacturer Hasselblad. Among its four rear cameras, for instance, you’ve got an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens and an impressive 50MP ultrawide camera.
While we gave the smartphone four stars and a recommended award in our initial OnePlus 9 Pro review back in 2021, this new low price makes the phone even more attractive.
